How long does it last?
Anti-Wrinkle does not start working straight away. Depending on the brand used, you may see the movement of your facial muscles reduce over 3-5 days or 14 days. Longevity is typically between 2-5 months.
Dermal Filler has an immediate result. The longevity depends on the brand used, the thickness of the gel, and amount of cross-linking. Dermal fillers may last anywhere from 6 months to 24 months according the pharmaceutical companies. However MRI studies have shown that these products may last longer, however may migrate around the face and therefore appearing less visible.
Other factors that can influence the longevity include dosage or volume used, treatment area, injection technique, metabolism (people who exercise a lot or naturally have high metabolisms will metabolise the products quicker), your body’s core thermal rate and regulation, smoking, medications and illicit substance use
Why cant I find the brands of cosmetic injectables?

Is there downtime?
Anti-Wrinkle: no downtime. It is often dubbed as the lunchtime treatment. As you can receive treatment and return to work straight after.
Dermal Fillers: may result in some swelling and bruising lasting a few days
What are the risks?
The risks of cosmetic treatments should be discussed with you in your consultation with the treating practitioner. There are general risks and individual risks based on your individual circumstances
Some general risks include bleeding, bruising, swelling, chance of infection, redness, headaches, temporary drooping of the eyebrow or eyelid (this resolves as the anti-wrinkle product wears off), blockage of the blood supply (you must contact your treating provider if you notice any whiteness, discolouration, blotchy looking appearance or pustules, as it is essential to reverse the dermal fillers if you are experiencing this), some high risk areas can also cause blindness if injected incorrectly
